Donate appreciated stocks or securities and potentially avoid capital gains tax while deducting the full market value.

Contact us to notify your intent, and we’ll provide transfer instructions to our brokerage account.

For individuals age 70½ or older, you can donate directly from your IRA to avoid income tax on up to $100,000 annually.

Request the QCD form from your IRA custodian and specify Georgia Humanities as the recipient.

Direct a grant from your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) to support our work. Contact your DAF provider to find out how to make a grant to Georgia Humanities from your fund.

The Laura T. McCarty National History Day Fund supports Georgia students as they explore history, share their ideas, and experience the enduring power of discovery.
