The Rocket Men Pre-Show Talk: Jewish Experience and History in the South

October 19 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Join Synchronicity Theatre for three pre-show talks that explore where science meets the stage, and the complex moral history of the U.S. space program. Each discussion connects with Synchronicity’s production of Crystal Skillman’s The Rocket Men.

The second panel will explore the Jewish experience and history in the South, with a focus on how personal relationships intersect with political and humanitarian accountability. The conversation will feature Sandy Berman, founding archivist of the William Breman Jewish Heritage Museum and author of several books, including Whitewashed. The discussion will take place from 3:30 – 4:30 pm, followed by a performance at 5:00 pm.

This program series is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
