The NHD Georgia “Essentials” workshop focuses on introducing (or refreshing) the fundamental elements of National History Day, including structure, components, and classroom adaptability. The workshop will cover the 25-26 National History Day theme, research tools and analysis, and category/project completion.

During this online workshop, time will also be dedicated to the creation of tools teachers can use in their classroom to help their students with what is often the most difficult step in a history day project: getting started. The goal is for teachers to leave the workshop comfortable with the program, its components, and the theme, and ready to discuss it with their students.
