Cool History: Summer Lecture Series

The Cool History: Summer Lecture Series brings regional historians with expertise in the Civil War to Columbus, GA, at the National Civil War Naval Museum for a presentation and question-and-answer session with the audience. All lectures in this speaker series are free and open to the public.

The lecturer for this event is Dr. Evan Kutzler, professor at Georgia Southwestern and author of Prison Pens, a memoir of a captured Confederate Soldier in northern Virginia, featuring letters he exchanged with his fiancée during the Civil War.
