October 26 @ 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Join Synchronicity Theatre for three pre-show talks that explore where science meets the stage, and the complex moral history of the U.S. space program. Each discussion connects with Synchronicity’s production of Crystal Skillman’s The Rocket Men.

The third and final program, Ethics, Complicity, and History, will feature Paul Root Wolpe, Raymond F. Schinazi Distinguished Research Chair of Jewish Bioethics at Emory University and head of the planned Center for Conflict Transformation, Mediation, Civic Dialogue, and Peacebuilding. The evening will begin with a talk from 4:00 – 4:30 pm, followed by a performance at 5:00 pm, and a post-show reflection and discusssion.

This program series is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
