The Patch Works Humanities Lecture Series: Lessons of Cabbagetown, Past and Present

patchworks.logo_-300x300This year, the Patch Works Art and History Center brings a lecture series on the lessons of Cabbagetown, past and present. The lecture, Dignity Matters: the Ripple Effects of Common Good Atlanta’s College-In-Prison Program on In-Town Neighborhoods, will feature Bill Taft and Sarah Higinbotham. The lecturers will give an overview of their in-prison college program and discuss the ways higher education prepares incarcerated men and women to return to their hometowns. Alumni of the program will share their experiences.

There is no cost to attend.

This event is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
