The Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home will host author and independent scholar Ashley Callahan on August 4 from 6:30-7:30 pm at the Rome Area History Center as part of their Summer Author Series. Callahan will discuss her book Frankie Welch’s Americana, published by the University of Georgia Press in partnership with Georgia Humanities.
