SlowExposures 2017, Unplugged: A Juried Exhibition Celebrating Photography of the Rural South

Since 2003, SlowExposures has celebrated photography of the rural South. This nationally-recognized photography exhibition was honored with a Governor’s Award for the Arts and Humanities in 2015.

This year the exhibition will celebrate Inspired Georgia, edited by Judson Mitcham, Michael David Murphy, and Karen L. Paty. Inspired Georgia is a copublication of UGA Press, Georgia Council for the Arts, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, Georgia Humanities, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
