PRIME TIME Family Reading Time
Established by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, PRIME TIME Family Reading Time is facilitated in Georgia by the Georgia Public Library Service in partnership with Georgia Humanities. PRIME TIME is a free children’s program of reading, storytelling, and discussion, targeting families with illiteracy or low-literacy issues. The program uses award-winning children’s books on humanities themes to facilitate discussion both at home and during the program sessions.
Programs can serve up to 25 families for children from ages 6-10 and their parents; parent participation is mandatory. Programs may be facilitated in English or in a bilingual Spanish/English format. Programs are closed to the general public; registration is required.
