Evening for Educators
On January 31, Emory University’s Stuart A. Rose Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library and the Carlos Museum will co-host an Evening for Educators. Teachers will have the opportunity to explore Atlanta artist Dr. Fahamu Pecou’s DO or DIE: Affect, Ritual, and Resistance at the Carlos, and Building Emory’s African American Collections: Highlights from the Curatorial Career of Randall K. Burkett at the Rose. Guests will hear from curators and other experts, participate in hands-on activities, receive materials for use in the classroom, and be able to register for school tours onsite. Wine and light refreshments will be served.
