1950 to 1970: Broadway and the American Songbook
In the lecture, 1950 to 1970: Broadway and the American Songbook, attendees will experience a sampling of music from the era and will be encouraged to engage in discussion with the presenting artists and the presenting scholar, Justin Havard. Havard is an accomplished director, pianist, and singer who has spent the last thirteen years working in music in Tampa Bay, Florida.
The lecture is free and open to the public, and presented by the Savannah Music Festival in partnership with the Davenport House Museum.
