How Journalists and the Public Shape our Democracy

thumbnail_MediaGuide_cov_webA panel of journalists will discuss the role of the media in a democracy, the responsibilities of citizens to inform themselves, how to spot “fake news,” and more at the Stonecrest Library in Lithonia. Monica Kaufman Pearson, retired WSB-TV anchor, will moderate the panel. Audience Q&A will follow. The program is part of the Democracy and the Informed Citizen initiative.
