About that Native American Grandmother…

At this Lunch and Learn, genealogist Yvonne Mashburn Schmidt will present “About that Native American Grandmother: Clues that Help and Hinder Our Family Stories.” Using three case studies of families who have Native American ancestral stories and whose ancestors were racially identified as black and white, Schmidt will teach participants about conducting Native American genealogical research and how to recognize clues that can be used as evidence and provide credibility to family stories.
