DESCRIPTION:The Coffee County Memory Project presents “Playback & FastFORWARD” at the Martin Centre in Douglas. Celebrating the voices of local oral history contributors who shared their firsthand experiences of school desegregation\, the event features dramatic renditions\, short documentaries\, and a special performance by the Coffee High School Choir featuring anthems from schools closed during the desegregation and consolidation era. \nThis program is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
