SUMMARY:The Rocket Men Pre-Show Talk: The History of Dora-Mittelbau Concentration Camp
DESCRIPTION:Join Synchronicity Theatre for three pre-show talks that explore where science meets the stage\, and the complex moral history of the U.S. space program. Each discussion connects with Synchronicity’s production of Crystal Skillman’s The Rocket Men. \nThe first discussion panel\, led by University of Alabama–Huntsville history professor Molly Wilkinson\, will examine the history of the Dora-Mittelbau concentration camp and the lessons it holds for today. The discussion will take place from 3:30 – 4:30 pm\, followed by a performance at 5:00 pm. \nThis program series is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
