SUMMARY:"More than a Name: Commemorating Bulloch's African American Fallen Soldiers of WWI" Exhibit Opening
DESCRIPTION:Approximately 370\,000 African Americans served in the First World War\, including thousands of Georgians. In Bulloch County\, dozens of African American men volunteered for or were drafted into service\, and 13 of those men died while in uniform. The exhibit soft opens on this day with an accompanying lecture taking place on April 1\, 2025. \nThis program is supported by a grant from Georgia Humanities.
