Key Ingredients: America by Food

The Georgia Humanities Council is pleased to present the Key Ingredients: America by Food traveling exhibition! Key Ingredients is a high quality national touring exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution's Museum on Main Street program, a partnership with the Federation of State Humanities Councils

Through a selection of artifacts, photographs, and illustrations, Key Ingredients explores the connections between Americans and food. It goes beyond the home to restaurants, diners and celebrations that help build a sense of community through food.  It also examines the evolution of the American kitchen and how food industries have responded to ever-expanding technological innovations.

Key Ingredients will stop at 12 sites across Georgia from June 28, 2008 to February 14, 2010. For more information visit the Key Ingredients in Georgia website at http://www.georgiafoodtour.org.
