KSU Announces Conference on Integrating the Workplace

Held October 14 - 15, 2011, sessions explore the human behavioral patterns leading to an integrated workplace post-World War II.

Kennesaw State University presents Integrating the Workplace: A Retrospective on the 50th Anniversary of Plans for Progress. This two-day conference uses a multi-disciplinary approach to explore history related to integrating the workplace in the post-World War II era.

The conference takes place at Kennesaw State University. Presenters include Gavin Wright of Stanford University, Frank Dobbin of Harvard University, Terry Anderson of Texas A&M University, and Dave Roediger of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.   Their presentations examine the origins and development of workplace integration from 1960 - 1990.

This conference is presented by Kennesaw State University, in partnership with the Georgia Humanities Council.
