Community Program Grant Applications Due May 1st
Community Program Grants of up to $2,000 are available. May 1, 2011 is a postmark deadline.
The Georgia Humanities Council offers Community Program Grants of up to $2,000 to support humanities projects developed by organizations working in partnership with at least one other community organization.
Funds may support one-day programs or help with larger community humanities initiatives. Examples of programs eligible for Community Program Grant funding include: a book/author presentation, a humanities speaker presentation (or a series of speakers), a humanities-themed festival, an oral history project, an exhibition, or a community historic walking tour.
