Toccoa was the training ground for the band of brothers of "Easy Company" during World War II. It was also home to the "Uncrowned Queen of the Blues", Ida Cox, and for a time, James Brown. New Harmonies visits the Currahee Military Museum from December 8, 2012 to January 26, 2013.
